Nada Hafez bases her work off of Arabic poetry, creating pieces that visually illustrate a poems’ objective. She explores different tones of communication between an artwork and a viewer without relying on the legibility of text in her art.

She has graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Art and Art History and is specializing in sculpture and printmaking.

Hafez was a recipient of the Museumpros Sculpture Award (2016), Canadian Art Award (2018) and the Therese Bolliger Award (2018).
